کتابی با عنوان «مارکس و ویتکنشتاین، پراکسیس اجتماعی و تبیین اجتماعی» خریدم نوشته دیوید روبنشتاین. این کتاب را شهناز مسمی پرست ترجمه کرده است. در یادداشت مترجم که در ابتدای کتاب نوشته شده به اشتباهات فاحشی بر خوردم که نشان از پایین بودن کیفیت کار یا بیتوجهی به کتاب دارد. در خط سوم کتاب می خوانیم «چگونه م یتوان …».جدا نوشتن می-توان. در پاراگراف دوم همین صفحه می خوانیم «دوگانگی ذهن و بدن و انی نتیجه که …». انی به جای این. در ادامه همین یادداشت مترجم باز می بینیم که چنین آمده است … «وی هر سال به مدرت یک سال …». مدرت به جای مدت و باز در پاراگراف بعدی «علوم اجتمعای» به جای علوم اجتماعی. البته می دانم استدلال چیزی شبیه این است که چهار اشتباه برای بخش یادداشت مترجم چندان مهم نیست و مهم مفاهیم و اصطلاحاتی است که این کتاب با خود به همراه دارد و به خوانندگان ارائه می دهد. اما، آیا واقعا بعد از خواندن یادداشتی از مترجم که در نزدیک به دو صفحه چهار غلط املایی فاحش دارد- و البته در این خصوص ناشر هم به اندازه مترجم و بلکه بیشتر مقصر است- دیگر انگیزه و رغبتی برای خواندن کتاب باقی می ماند؟ برای من که باقی نماند.
«شهری شدن سرمایه: چرخه دوم انباشت سرمایه در تولید محیط مصنوع» از دیوید هاروی منتشر شده است. نمی دانم به جای مصنوع واژه بهتری وجود داشته است یا نه. اما در شناسنامه کتاب بعد از عنوان اینگیلیسی کتاب سال نشر آن ۱۸۹۸ ذکر شده در حالی که در بالای آن سال تولد دیوید هاروی ۱۹۳۵ نوشته شده است. در ابتدای این کتاب هم مترجم یادداشتی نوشته که با واژه اوربانیسم معادل Urbanism . نمی دانم این اوربانیسم است یا اِربنیسم؟

آیا واقعا بعد از خواندن یادداشتی از نویسنده که در نزدیک به دو صفحه چند تا غلط املایی داره، دیگر انگیزه و رغبتی برای خواندن نوشته باقی می گذارد؟
به نظرم حق مطلب رو ادا کردید. آدم بعدش دلش میخواهد اصلا خودش رو بزنه از بس که حرص میخوره.
من اتفاقی به این مطلب شما برخوردم. البته حق با شماست. می دانید می چند بار کتاب را بعد از تایپ ناشر بازخوانی کردم ولی متأسفانه این یادداشت را بعد از همه آن بازخوانی ها به ناشر دادم و آنها حتی این دو صفحه را هم نتوانستند بدون غلط تایپ کنند و من اصلا فکر نکردم که حتی این دو صفحه را باید بروم از ایشان بگیرم و خودم بازخوانی کنم که غلطی نداشته باشد. مترجم فقط ترجمه نمی کند باید همه کار را خودش انجام دهد این ناشرها حتی نمونه خوانی که نمونه خوانی را درست انجام دهد ندارند مترجم باید ترجمه کند بعد خودش نمونه خوانی کند بعد نمایه در بیاورد.
خیلی متأسف شدم که به خاطر این اشکالات تایپی در این دو صفحه چه قدر از خوانندگانی که می توانستند از این اثر نویسنده استفاده ببرند حال محروم می شوند.

امروز با مسئول آماده سازی کتاب هم تماس گرفتم و چون قبلا هم یکی از دوستان در مورد این اشکالات گفته بود به ایشان تذکر دادم که در چاپ جدیداین اغلاط اصلاح شود ایشان هم گفتند که اشکال از تایپیستی بوده که قرار بوده بعد از تایپ این دو صفحه خودش نمونه خوانی را انجام دهد ولی متأسفانه این مأموریت را انجام نداده و چون کتاب به سرعت در حال چاپ شدن بوده دیگر کنترل نشده و بعد از چاپ متوجه این مطلب شده اند که دیگر دیر بوده است.
در هر صورت از تذکر شما ممنونم

Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate.
