پایاننامه از جمله دردسرهای بزرگ دوره کارشناسی ارشد است. پایاننامه من درباره خنثایی پول در اقتصاد و انتظارات عقلایی بود. شاید مهمترین مشکل در پایاننامه این است که اگر موضوع آن را براساس یک مقاله خوب انتخاب کنید باید حتما به همان نتایج برسید و هر نتیجهای جز آن از نظر استادان مورد قبول نیست و همین عاملِ دستکاری در نتایج مدل یا دیتاجوریشن است. یادم هست من نتایجی متضاد با اصل مقاله که متعلق به هاشم پسران بود بهدست میآوردم و راهنمای من قبول نمیکرد و میگفت تو کارت خوب نبوده و من خودم باید آن را حل کنم. البته منظور از حل در این قبیل موارد یعنی کاری کنم که به جواب برسد. البته انتخاب موضوع خودش یک گرفتاری عظما است و استادی را میبینید با تخصص خرد که کلانکار شده و برعکس. من که استاد راهنمایم را سهبار بیشتر ندیدم. معضل بعدی گردآوردن استادان در یک روز و یک ساعت مشخص است. در دانشکده اقتصاد علامه از بچههای دوره ما امضا گرفته بودند که بعد از ترم ۴ بهازای هر ترم اضافه یک نمره کم میکنند. حالا فرض کنید یکنفر یک درس مهم! مثل اقتصاد اسلامی را بیفتد. چطور باید کاری کند که درسش در ۴ ترم تمام شود. از من دو نمره کم کردند و هرگز حاضر نشدند در برگه فارغالتحصیلیم این موضوع را بهصورت مکتوب بنویسند. تنها کسی که پایاننامهام را مطمئنم که نخواند استاد مشاورم بود و تنها کسی بود که با کمکردن ۲ نمره هم مخالف بود و باز او تنها کسی بود که در روز دفاع مرا از یک گرفتاری بزرگ نجات داد. استاد داور که خود را شاگرد انگل و گرنجر میدانست معتقد بود فصل چهارم پایاننامه باید حذف شود و اینجا بود که مشاور به دادم رسید. روز دفاعم ندا هم به دانشکده آمده بود که ناگهان یکی از نگهبانان به سراغ ما آمد و گفت رئیس وقت دانشکده از پنجره اتاقش شما را دیده و میگوید خانم چون روسری سر دارد باید از دانشکده خارج شود! چه رئیس گرفتار و پرمشغلهای! به من ۱۹ دادند و بعد هم شد ۱۷٫ ولی گمان نمیکنم در پایان پایاننامه چیزی جز همان شیرینی و آبمیوه در یادها و خاطرهها بماند.
