اقتصاد را علمانگیزهها میدانند و انگیزهها هم شاید مهمترین عامل رفتارهای منعفتطلبانه و خیرخواهانه انسان باشند. روزگاری را بهیاد بیاوریم که تمامی بازیکنان فوتبال، بازیکنی فوتبال شغل دومشان بود که اصلا هم برای آن پولی دریافت نمیکردند. بنابراین در آن روزها لیدرها هم پول نمیگرفتند و به عبارت دیگر انگیزهها چیزی غیر از پول بود. اما کمکم پای پول به فوتبال باز شد و دستمزدها افزایش یافت. اما طی دو سه سال اخیر میگویند فوتبال حرفهای شده و بنابراین دستمزدها هم باید حرفهای شود. دستمزدها همه حرفهای شد: از مربی و بازیکن تا لیدر. دیگر زیاد نمیشد به حرف انسانهای شریف تکیه کرد چرا که این پول بود و هست که تصمیمات افراد را تحتتاثیر قرار میدهد. برای مثال یادم هست مجید جلالی در آخرین برنامه نود دو سال پیش گفت من با تمام احترامی که برای مردم خوزستان قائلم دیگر به این استان برنمیگردم. هفته بعد سر از باشگاه فولاد خوزستان درآورد. جلالی هم مرد شریفی است و هم فوتبالدان، اما خوب و بد و احترام و بیاحترامی به مردم خوزستان دیگر اهمیت ندارد بلکه این انگیزههای پولی است که همه چیز را تعیین میکند. روزگاری عادت کرده بودیم که میثاقیان را فقط با ابومسلم خراسان ببینیم. اما پول او را از این سو به آن سو میکشاند. روزگاری فکر میکردیم استقلالی خونش آبی است و هرگز به هیچ قیمتی از این تیم نمیرود. دیدم که نیکبخت واحدی برای پول رفت. علی کریمی برای پول رفت. کشورهای عربی توانایی فوتبالی بازیکنان را خراب میکنند اما همه به انگیزه رفتن به آنجا را دارند. در این میان داور ماند و حوضش. داورها با دستمزدهایی بسیار پایین در میان میلیونرها احساس خوبی نداشته و ندارند. داورها که اسپانسرشان باید نهادی اخلاقی و مروج عدالت باشد توانایی پرداخت دستمزدهای بالاتر را ندارد. اما فرض کنیم تیمی در آستانه سقوط به دسته پایینتر قرار بگیرد و فقط یک امتیاز بخواهد: مثل همین لیگ سال قبل. آیا پیشنهاد ۲۰ میلیونی به کمکداوری که دستمزدش برای یک بازی کمتر از نیممیلیون است انگیزه آن را نمیدهد که در یک لحظه اعلام پنالتی کند؟ گرچه پاسخ به این سوال دشوار است اما زندگی اقتصادی درواقع زندگی انگیزههای اقتصادی است. این انگیزهها هستند که رفتار انسان را هدایت میکنند و نه اخلاقیات صرف و داوران هم از این امر مستثنی نیستند. وقتی داوری باید برای لاغر شدن و عمل ساکشن نزدیک به ۵۰ میلیون تومان هزینه کند و این پول نه از راه داوری بهدست میآید و نه از راه کارمندی چه باید بکند؟ چند روزی هست که گروهی فوتبال را کثیف نامیدهاند و میگویند داوران عادلانه سوت نمیزنند. راستش داوران عادلانه سوت میزنند اما ظاهرا عدالت هم قیمتی دارد! این پول است که در ماراتن سخت فوتبال عدالت را پشتسر گذاشته است. راستش داوران غیراخلاقی نشدهاند بلکه پولی شدهاند! پس بهجای دم زدن از رفتار اخلاقی داوران باید دستمزد آنها را افزایش داد تا انگیزه عادلانه سوت زدن دوباره تقویت شود.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
