در دانشکده اقتصاد علامهطباطبایی همان ترم اول بچههای ورودی ما را مجبور کردند تعهد بدهند ظرف ۴ ترم دفاع میکنند و شرشان را از سر دانشکده کم میکنند. چارهای نبود، پذیرفتیم. البته این توافقنامه بند دیگری هم داشت و آن این بود که در ازای هر ترم بعد از ترم چهار ۱ نمره از نمره پایاننامه کم میشود. من در درس اقتصاد اسلامی مردود شدم و به ناچار باید حداقل ۵ ترم را در دانشکده اقتصاد میماندم. از قضای روزگار در پایان ترم ۵ هم پایاننامه تمام نشد و من و تقریبا همه آن دوستان وارد ترم ۶ شدیم. روزهای پایانی ترم ۶ بود که بهدنبال برگزاری جلسه دفاع بودم. استادان هماهنگ نمیشدند، یک روز داور کار داشت، روز دیگر راهنما نمیتوانست بیاید و روزی هم اتاق مورد نظر در آن ساعت پر بود. خلاصه ترم ۶ هم تمام شد. وارد اتاق تحصیلات تکمیلی شدم به قصد داد و فریاد. دیدم علی عرب مازار یزدی خندان گفت: تو هم مشکل بقیه را داری. نگران نباش. نمیگذارم بیش از دو نمره کم کنند. بعد هم خودش وارد این بازی شد و کاری کرد که ما در همان روزهای پایانی سال دفاع کردیم. در این میان دو تن از استادان با کم شدن نمره مخالف بودند: یکی جمشید پژویان بود و دیگری همین علی عرب مازار. خوب حالا جمشید پژویان در پی اجرای طرح هدفمندسازی یارانهها است و تنها استادی است که اعتبار علمی خود را در گرو این طرح گذاشته است. از سوی دیگر علی عربمازار که میتوانست منتقد خوبی برای پژویان باشد دیگر در دانشکده نیست. ۲ نمره را از ما کم کردند و بر روی گواهی تحصیلیمان هم این موضوع را درج نکردند که علت این کمبودن نمره چیست! شاید اگر روسای وقت دانشکده همچون علی عربمازار به ما مانند محصولات یک کارخانه نگاه میکردند که هر چه با کیفیتتر باشیم اعتبار آنها هم افزایش مییابد، تلاشی میکرد برای تغییر این قانون مندرآوردی که بعد از دوره ما هم لغو شد. بعدها در سالروز درگذشت حسینرعظیمی، عربمازار را دیدم و گفت که من خواننده پروپاقرص وبلاگ گذری بر اقتصاد هستم. گفتم: شرمنده میکنید، چوبکاری میکنید. اگر میدونستم شما میخونید دیگه نمینوشتم». بعدا که آن وبلاگ را به این سایت تبدیل کردم دوباره دیدمش و گفت: این تغییر موجب کاهش تعداد بینندگانت نشده است. همان روزها یک سخنرانی داشت با نام استفادهها و سوءاستفادهها از ریاضیات در اقتصاد. همیشه خندان بود و پرانرژی. اولین باری که علی عرب مازار را دیدم وقتی بود که برای گرفتن یک مقاله درباره پولشویی و اقتصاد زیرزمینی بهش مراجعه کردم.

ظاهرا در دوره ای همه دانشگاههای ایران این مشکل را برای همه درست کرده اند. منهم در دانشگاه تربیت مدرس همین مشکل را داشتم. متاسفانه تنها چیزی که اهمیت نداشت دلیل این تاخیر بود و اینکه این کم کردن نمره بدون چه تاثیری در معدل خواهد داشت.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate.
